Guidelines on attending Phil-Asian Gaming Expo (PAGE)

In order to facilitate your participating/visiting the Gaming Expo, we warmly remind you of the following:

Visa To Join The Gaming Expo

Visitors who require an invitation letter from the conference to apply for a visa need to fill out and submit a PAGE invitation letter application; the conference only provides exhibition invitation letters and cannot guarantee that visitors can successfully apply for a visa.

Entry and Exit Requirements for Philippines

Upon arrival at a Philippine airport, travelers shall produce their passports, visas, embarkation cards, application form for entry and return, and customs declaration forms to enter the Philippines. On the flight, the airline hostesses will give passengers entry and exit registration form, application form for entry and return, and customs declaration form, and passengers on board the aircraft can fill in the forms in order to save time. Embarkation card and application form for entry and return must be filled out in English. Travelers just need to fill out in accordance with the requirements of the registration card and the specification. Among these items, the name field needs to be written in capital letters; if there is no special baggage, after filling out customs declaration form with name, nationality, credential number, date of birth, and other basic information, check green boxes. The above information should be completed strictly in accordance with the requirements. You can also collect the documents to fill out at the relevant window during airport customs clearance.

Entry For the Gaming Expo

    1. Point of entry
      The Manila International Airport is the most used airport of entry in the Philippines; other important points of entry are the Mactan International Airport in Cebu, the Davao International Airport, the Kalibo International Airport, etc. After getting off the plane, travelers only need to present the airport immigration counter with visa, passport and completed entry/exit registration for the staff to check; after the staff collect entry card and stamp passport with entry seal, the entry procedures are done. After immigration formalities are finished, travelers shall collect their baggage at the designated site and carry it to the customs desk for inspection, and hand in visa, passport, entry application and customs declaration to the customs staff for inspection. Passing customs inspection, customs application will be collected. If there is no accompanied effects to declare, travelers can directly take the green channel, otherwise take the declaration channel; afterwards follow the signs to the security checkpoint, and enter the Philippines after passing security check.
    2. Accompanied effects
      According to the Philippine customs regulations, travelers are allowed to carry 1.4 liters of alcohol, 200 cigarettes, 50 cigars, and 250g of tobacco duty-free. The amount of currency you carry into the Philippines must not exceed $3,000, or you need to declare in advance.
    3. Entry requirements:
      • A traveler shall declare the total value of his accompanied effects, and fill out customs declaration form truthfully. If there are false declarations or undeclared items, the person may be penalized according to Philippine Customs Regulations; articles for personal use during travel need no declaration;
      • According to the Philippine laws, firearms, explosives and parts thereof, compact discs, and stereos are prohibited entry;
      • Regulated articles such as narcotics, chemicals, and drugs without prescription are prohibited entry; carrying them is deemed illegal;
      • Restricted entry for agricultural crops, wild animals/plants and their products; a traveler must submit a declaration if such items are carried; otherwise, they will be confiscated and the person is subject to punishment;
      • It is illegal to bring in banknotes, coins, checks, and money orders worth over P10,000.00 without declaration; any violation of this rule may lead to its seizure and civil penalties and/ or criminal prosecution;
      • Carrying drugs is a criminal offense;

Exit of the Gaming Expo

After arrival at Manila International Airport, you shall go to the specified counter to arrange for flight boarding to return home, you will need to produce a personal passport and a return ticket, and then receive a boarding pass. After receiving the boarding pass, go to the exit inspection area, give passport, exit registration form, and the boarding pass to the staff to check; when check is done, the staff will stamp exit seal on the passport, then travelers go to security checkpoint and customs desk for inspection, and then go to flight lounge to await boarding.

Accommodation & Hotels

The organizer cannot arrange free accommodation for exhibitors and contractors. Exhibitors and contractors can book official hotels (refer to the exhibitor task list for details) or book other hotels according to their own circumstances

Transportation

Visitors may use Grab to go around Metro Manila. For airport transfers, your respective accommodation and hotel may provide complimentary transfers.
Organizer will provide shuttle buses to and from SMX Convention Center and World Trade Center.

Characteristics of Filipino food: all famous Filipino dishes, even soups, are prepared with vinegar and a lot of spicy sauces like garlic. The ingenious combination of Chinese and Western flavors creates a unique style. Lechon and Adobo are typical Filipino dishes. Lechon is a typical Filipino festival dish, mostly roast pork; the home style dish Adobo is the immersion of raw food in a stock (or sauce) composed variously of paprika, oregano, salt, garlic, soy sauce and vinegar to preserve and enhance its flavor.
